About
Theodor Holm is a Swedish-American director, editor, and photographer born and raised in New York City. His work spans documentary and narrative films, commercial projects, and photography. He studied film production at Emerson College and began his career interning at Blumhouse before becoming a programmer for the Hamptons International Film Festival.
Theodor has also worked on several acclaimed features, including Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs and The French Dispatch. Alongside film, his photography has taken him from covering the Anime Awards in Tokyo to creating independent documentary work on Ida O’Keeffe.
Passionate about movement, untold stories, shifting narratives, people and portraits, and the beauty of visual chaos, Theodor’s work continues to bridge mediums while remaining rooted in New York, with projects that carry him around the world.
